12:00 P.M. EDT Monday 23 March 2026 for today tonight and Tuesday.
The next scheduled forecasts will be issued at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday.

Western Lake Superior.
1 tenth thick lake ice except 9 tenths thin lake ice including 4
tenths thick lake ice along parts of the shores. Consolidated thick
lake ice in Thunder Bay and along parts of the southern shore.
Consolidated very thick lake ice in Black Bay and Nipigon Bay. 

Eastern Lake Superior.
1 tenth thick lake ice except 7 tenths thin lake ice including 3
tenths thick lake ice along parts of the shores and in Keweenaw Bay.
Consolidated thick lake ice along parts of the southern shore. 

Whitefish Bay.
8 tenths thick lake ice. Consolidated thick lake ice in the southern
and eastern sections. 

North Channel.
Consolidated thick lake ice. 

Northern Lake Huron.
1 tenth thick lake ice except 9 tenths thin lake ice including 2
tenths thick lake ice in the extreme northwestern section. 7 tenths
thick lake ice near parts of the Bruce Peninsula. Consolidated thick
lake ice along parts of the shore and near the Straits of Mackinac. 

Southern Lake Huron.
Open water except 2 tenths thick lake ice in Saginaw Bay. 7 tenths
thick lake ice along parts of the eastern shore. Consolidated thick
lake ice along parts of the northeastern shore. 

Northern Georgian Bay.
8 tenths thick lake ice. Consolidated thick lake ice along parts of
the shore. 

Southern Georgian Bay.
1 tenth thick lake ice except 6 tenths thick lake ice in the
northern section. Consolidated thick lake ice along parts of the
shore. 

Lake St. Clair
Western Lake Erie.
Open water. 

Eastern Lake Erie.
1 tenth thick lake ice except 9 tenths thick lake ice in the extreme
eastern section. Consolidated thick lake ice along parts of the
eastern shore. 

Western Lake Ontario.
Open water. 

Eastern Lake Ontario.
Open water except 2 tenths thick lake ice in the extreme
northeastern section. Consolidated rotten thick lake ice along parts
of the shore and in the Bay of Quinte. 

Northern Lake Michigan.
Open water except 1 tenth thick lake ice near Green Bay. 8 tenths
thick lake ice north of and east of Fox Islands. Consolidated thick
lake ice in the Straits of Mackinac. 

Southern Lake Michigan.
Open water. 

Green Bay.
7 tenths thick lake ice. Consolidated thick lake ice in Bays de Noc
and in southern Green Bay.
